This was a cake for a little girl's birthday / make-up party. It was a rich chocolate sponge cake with chocolate filling. There were lots of little make-up and jewlery figures made from marshmallow fondant, then hand painted. I added lots of edible glitter for the make-up dust to add some shimmer for the girls. Then I make a thin icing with powder sugar, corn syrup and water with a little color to make the spilled nail polish.
