Squished Present

This was my very first fondant, layered, for real decorated cake ever. To begin with my layers were not even and they were shifting and sliding all over. The fondant was too thick and squished down and I didn't know I had to leave the bows out overnight to harden so I did it that morning and stuck them on only to quickly realize that it was going to look like a bow that I ran over with my car. Oh well....live and learn right?
