I love this! I saw in another thread where you described making the ice cubes for this cake. I'm making something similar, but will make a sugar glass filled with sugar Rum and sugar ice cubes. Since you recommended cooking the sugar to 250 to keep it from turning yellow, do you think I can achieve my goal or will the ice cubes turn to liquid when hit with the hot sugar rum?
