I make a birthday cake each month for my department at work and this is the January cake. this was my first attempt at gumpaste figurines and I used the 2 minute penguin instructions which were great except if I did this again, I would make the eyes bigger and closer together. The cake is WASC (awesome!!!!) and buttercream covered in fondant. The snowflakes are fondant with royal icing and sugar crystals.
