This was a cake that I was FORCED to do...Ha! My best friend needed a cake for her hubby's birthday. With his love for cars and obsession with monkeys, I decided to incorporate the two into one. Fondant is not my specialty, but I enjoy playing around with it. The monkey is made from my mom's recipe for color flow. This was my FIRST time to attempt (and I only broke one of the 3 I made and chose from). I crushed oreo cookies to cover my 'imperfections' on the cake to have the appearance of a rough dirty terrain.
