This cake was made for a very special childhood friend who is in remission from a very aggressive leukemia. He had a bone marrow transplant that went wonderful. He's really doing pretty good right now, but for a very long time, no one believed he would ever live to see his 40th birthday. Since he did, of course, we had to give him a hard time, but we are all so very greatful that we have him here to pick on. He's a golf nut, so I thought the cake was cook.
