This is a cake i made for my brother (the self proclaimed King since we were kids). Made with 2 x 8" round cakes (with yellow cake mix) with chocolate frosting. The crown pieces are made from sugar cookies (i made the template using sturdy cardboard for the larger pieces and used a graham cracker for the smaller square pieces). The accent jewel pieces are made from cherry fruit snacks and m &m's with white chocolate frosting to hold the jewesl and cookie pieces together. The "King" really enjoyed it...and can also be made for any form of "royalty" in your life :-)
