I call it my 'suede' cake because the fondant looks like suede. I had a horrible time with my fondant cracking and breaking at the edge of the petal form because it was worked so much to do a colour matching exercise. Luckily I could hide all my mistakes with pearls and flowers. The top tier is styrofoam but the bottom tier is layer cake.
