This was a lemon cake with lemon Italian meringue buttercream, all made from scratch. This type of frosting was hard to get smooth. The accents were made of candy and hard to work with because they got melty fast. Everything tasted good even if they didn't look perfect. It was for my friend's birthday whose favorite kind of cake is lemon with lemon frosting and favorite color is teal!
