This was an experiment all the way around. I finally came up with a cream cheese icing recipe that is firm enough to work with and still taste great. I made a pumpkin cake by request of the bride-to-be. She wanted a pumpkin cake that tasted like pumpkin pie. After about 6 different tries I finally got pretty close. I dont normally do cream cheese icing cakes because I can't get that clean surface/edge that I get with my BC. I made the topper out of gumpaste and then wet the surface down and placed each crystal on one by one (took what seemed forever). All the pearls were edible. Thank you for having a look.
