Easter Bonnet Cake - 2007

Another cake made at 16 This was my first use with fondant and it sparked a whole new life to my cake decorating skills. I followed a recipe from a magazine for this cake. the base of the bonnet is a huge sugar cookie, and the bonnet is a cake that was baked in a pyrex bowl. I melted frosting and then poured it over the cake and cookie to give it the smooth look. The flowers and ribbon are all from fondant.
