I created this cake for my autistic step-son's 16th birthday. Disney is his favorite thing, and we were attending "The Magical Music of Disney" played by the Pacific Symphony for his birthday. This cake is somewhat of an homage to that :)

My coconut cream poundcake, back again by family's request, and again filled and frosted with coconut buttercream. Covered in mm fondant, the music notes are piped, and the Disney character silhouettes are gumpaste. The notes and characters were accented to recall the look of pen and ink drawings.
