Made this cake for a friends baby shower, the flowers are made out of royal icing, the lady bug & bees are pressed flowers. The butterflies are made from rice paper and royal icing. The baby, blanket, pillow, baby shoes, rattle and bear are all made out of gum paste. They are sitting on a plaque so that my friend can keep them. I used the tutorial I found on cake central to make the butterflies. It was a long process, but well work the time. They turned out beautiful.
