Castle Cake
White cake and vanilla icing. My granddaughter's choice (YUCK . . I hate vanilla). Her 18th birthday! Yikes! Fondant covers cakes & towers/turrets. Large candles were used for the towers. Antique bronze luster dust for the cone tops and a few other places. Soft black and brown petal dust was used to give an aged appearance. Unfortunately I didn't finsh decorating and rushed the last of what I did. I didn't think it would take so long to do! Good thing it was a free family cake!
Wow, absolutley fantastic work of art!!!!!!
Thank you!!
It is my fault Cakes47 was rushed on this cake, but to me it's gorgeous!! I think this is the first castle she ever did, so of course she wanted to be perfect. But as Wendoger said, Cakes47 is an artist whether she wants to admit it or not. I'd have died if I ever got a cake like this for my birthday!! Wowzer!! 8)
wow, what a fantatic castle! Very impressive! I'm sure they didn't mind that you rushed a bit - can't even tell! It looks so pretty!
Don't you just hate when time sneaks up on you like that? :) Nice job!
