The idea for these cupcakes comes from the book "I love Cupcakes." The book has such cute ideas but I hate working with store bought icing and pre-packaged foods such as the twinkies that make up the shark bodies. I will not likely try to make any more of the cupcakes in the book following the instructions and will rather use the ideas as inspirations. I added the starfish and octopus made out of Michele fosters fondant and the gummy sharks. On all but the sharks the icing is a cool whip pudding mixture. These went along with the ocean theme cookies and shark ice cream cake for my son's 4th birthday.
