I coloured the top of the cake with a mixture of orange and an egg yellow. I used a paper stencil to cut out the black fondant. I allowed it to dry little before I placed it on the cake. This was my second attempt, because the black fondant was too floppy and the top of the cake didn't dry before I placed lion ontop, so it couldn't be moved into place. sorry don't have picture of finished cake.
