I did an Alice in Wonderland theme for my daughter's 1st birthday, and so I went with a "Queen of Hearts" theme on the cake. A bit Valentinesy, yes, I know. But it worked for Alice in Wonderland too. Marshmallow fondant. Birthday girl got the 6" top tier to herself!
