My stepdaughter asked me to do her birthday cake..she is one of my biggest fans! She loves littlest petshop and wanted a cake with that theme. Needless to say I had no clue what i was gonna do. I bought a few toys. I used a round 6inc pan and a 14in pan, I cute the bump part off of the round cake and put it to the side, I was at first going to make a merry go round, I had a pillar which I stuck in the middle but I didn't have any boards for the top portion of the cake that I cut off which I wanted to be the top part of the merry go round, so since there was a hole, I stuck one of the toys in and said...hey a pool! lol . I painted the fondant a hot pink rolled some white to make the ring of the pool, made a fondant ladder. The water is blue piping gel. My daughter asked was I going to make a towel since he was in the pool, so thats sitting on the bench on top of his hat(hat and bottle are toys). The bench I made from fondant and gumpaste as well as the tree. So since I had the top portion of the cake still I used that as a hill to put one of the skate ramps on. On the tree I of course had to post a sign pointing to the skate park. The filling is homemade buttercream, and homemade chocolate buttercream. She wanted half and half. I painted the path on the cake with brown wiltons coloring gel.

Her name is going to be put on the actual cake board.
