My twins found a pic of a cake they liked for their sweet 16 and this was the end result after I made color scheme adaptations and such. The original cake was also all fondant. This was my first tier cake and my first use of fondant, so covering the whole thing in fondant was too scary for me! There is also silver glitter sprinkled all over it that you can't see in the pic. It was a cherry cake with buttercream icing. I never realized how heavy cakes can be until I made this...16 pounds on the nose!
