Got the idea from a cake I saw online. First time ever making fondant/gumpaste figures - those I can claim as my own! :) It was a 10 inch, french vanilla cake with strawberry cream filling. First time using buttercream icing as well - yeah, I know.......need lots of practice with that! I tried the Viva method, but I think I definately needed more buttercream......oh, well, the b-day boy was thrilled!
