For my son's 4th birthday party, construction themed, he requested a chain saw cake. I drew a picture of a chainsaw and enlarged it for a template. The chain saw was made out of one sheet cake and the log was a round cake. The blade was made of cardboard and foil, which the only nonedible part of the cake.
