This is a back-end view of the fighter jet cake. It looks to be resting only on the oreo tires of the plane, which is mostly true. The cake is on a cake board and then I have a small-diameter wooden stick in the middle of each oreo sandwich that holds up the cake like a tripod. The trick was balancing the cake on the tripod sticks so that the plane rested level with the runway. This was a birthday cake for a friend going into the Air Force.
