that is so cute. Did you carve the cake to get it that shape or did you modify a shaped pan?
Modified a shaped pan. I started with the 3D lamb pan and kept adding shaped pieces of cake for the back and front legs, tail and muzzle.
how did you get the eyes and nose to look so real? I LOVE this cake! So cute!
Thanks. I truly think I just lucked out. I used buttercream icing that I smoothed with a drop cornstarch.

This is perfect! I made a sculpted dog cake for my daughter's second b-day (first sculpted) but the ears broke after transporting. Would you mind sharing how you extended the face and ears? [email protected] thanks!
fantastic... he almost looks real! Quick correction for readers... you smoothed the icing with cornSYRUP no cornstarch... that would make it less smooth.
