I made these for both of my son's 5th grade "graduation" class parties from Elementary School to Middle School. The cupcakes are simply iced with buttercream icing w/chocolate icing piped for the faces. The morter boards are from a template using melted chocolate. The tassels are fruit rollups cut and secured with a M&M.
