My first cakes!!!!! I made two guitars for my daughters 4th bday. I was very happy with the way they turned out. I used candy melts for the accents, ribbon for the strings ( totally stressed with trying to get the perfect strings, tried licorice, frosting, candy melts this was my last attempt and it worked for me!) I searched a candy shop for 'tuner knobs' and I found hockey puck gum balls and just inserted a toothpick and tied the ribbon to that. I would have prefered silver ribbon but I ran out.
