Didn't know where to put this as there really isn't any category it fits. I made this 12x8x4 sheet for a contest. The design is based on something I saw in a wood painting book. The top of one layer is iced in buttercream. There is a cut out made in the other layer, then placed on the bottom layer with the whole cake iced in buttercream. The cut-out is iced separately & added into the hole. The eagle is then piped over that, along w/the rest of the decorations.
