This along with the next few pictures is a cake I made for my two children's birthday. One wanted a pirate cake and the other wanted a mermaid cake . . So, TA DA. It was made with two sheet cakes, frosted separately and then some frosting blended together to get the waves to crash on the beach. This was a really cool cake to make. The kids loved it. My son turned 6, hence the cannon balls in the shape of a 6 and my daughter was 8, so the star fish has an 8 on it.
