I was having a joint Mother's Day/Father's Day dinner, and I needed a cake that was neither too feminine nor too masculine. I was trying for "elegant" although I don't know if I succeeded. This is a red velvet cake with a raspberry Kahlua mousse filling and French Vanilla buttercream frosting. Obviously, those are pirouette cookies around the outside and chocolate dipped strawberries on top. Thanks for looking.
