This was an 8" and 6" 4 layer cake. Top tier was vanilla and bottom tier was devils food. This was made for a true Texas cowboy who turned a young 87 years old. Cake was frosted in buttercream and barbed wire was piped around the top tier. Fondant horse shoes and stars, I made and painted with vodka, pearl dust and a tint. The prickly pear, yucca and the 87 on top were made of gumpaste.
