This was the first cake I ever made. It was for my daughter's 6th birthday. It was a one layer 12" cake carved into the shape of Hello Kitty and covered in fluffly white icing. The eyes were jelly beans and the nose was a jordan almond and black licorice as the whiskers. I carved this cake using a template I created out of cardstock. My daughter loved it!
