I made this cake for my niece....She put in the order after watching an episode of Ace of Cakes. ;) The order came with instructions for flowers, butterflies flying, and beads hanging off. It was to be purple and pink and yellow. So I drew out my ideas and after her pre approval began the work. She did say that I meet her expectations. The bottom layer is a funfettie cake with baverian cream, the mid layer is tripple choc with raspberry, the top was strawberry with cheesecake flav buttercream. I used the recipe from here with the sourcream. I covered all the layers with marshmellow fondant made with strawberry marshmellows. Everyone loved the fondant!!! it tasted great and was a great pink color with any coloring! The mid layer was also pink and then airbrushed purple. The top was airbrushed with pearlypink.
