cookie1564, I made the flames with orange royal icing but stripes the inside of the bag with red gel food dye. I also used a large leaf tip. After the flames were piped on, I brushed some orange luster dust the the flames and on the cauldron above the flames.

OK... the witch is the Wilton wonder mold, the cauldron are cake I baked in metal bowls, the smaller bowl cake is inverted and the larger one right side up on top. The hat is an ice cream cone sprayed with blk food dye and rimmed with blk royal. Flames: I striped inside a piping bag with red paste color on one side and yellow paste color on the opposite side and filled the bag with orange royal, used a leaf tip and piped on the flames. after the royal dried (and the BC on cauldron crusted) TBC...

Cont... I "painted" copper colored luster dust on the cauldron just above the tips of a few flames. The liquid goo in the cauldron is a thin layer of green and white royal marbled together then a thick layer of piping gel. I used the little candy bones and stuck into the gel. Hope all of the info helps. post pictures!
