I made these cakes for my mother-in-law's birthday. They are all two layers of round cakes standing up with the bottom cut off. The two in the back are cut from 8 inch rounds and the pieces I cut from them are the 2 small purses in the front. The purse in the middle is cut from two 6 inch rounds. The lavender purse on the bottom left is covered in rolled buttercream (RBC) with RBC accents. All the rest are iced in buttercream with candy, RBC and buttercream accents.
