I was requested to create a cake that would reflect someone's life up to retirement. She grew up on a farm (bottom tier) then spent her career in the hospitality & restaurant field (middle tier). Three babies, babies representing her three daugher's, were also placed on the middle tier. Although 'Marie' was not entirely retiring, she planned to spend as much time laying on the beach as possible. Cakes are 6, 10 & 14 inches and covered in buttercream. All accents were handmade with fondant except for the very few signs that were edible images on fondant.
