This year he wanted a jungle theme cake with a waterfall and these animals. His mom really likes the name on a sign. So I just piled a loaf pan on an 8 inch round on top of a 12 inch square and did a little carving. I then poured Hershey's chocolate frosting over the entire thing(it hardens nicely and held everything together in transit. All the green is buttercreme piped on with mostly the grass tip. The animals and trees are plastic, the sign is fondant, the fence is pirouline cookies and boxed pastries. The cake was a huge hit with children and adults.
