My cat escaped one night and I didn't notice he was gone til morning. I flyered the telephone poles and handed out flyers door-to-door. A lady saw the flyer...and my cat! Now he's back safe and sound. I baked this 6" cake to thank her and her family. It was a pistachio cake with cardamom and orange zest, iced with Whipped Cream Buttercream. Note: WCBC does not crust, nor does it smooth well. Lots of air bubbles! The cake is pretty thrown-together but I wanted it in my gallery anyway :-).
