I wish this were my idea but I was inspired by the book Hello, Cupcake! by Karen Tack & Alan Richardson. Vanilla cupcakes tinted yellow, yellow buttercream frosting, jelly belly beans for the kernels, lemon Starburst pats of butter, and white and black sugar crystals for the salt and pepper.
