As a present to my niece I made her cake(s). I made the cake stand too. The top cake is fruit cake....yum... my mouth is watering just typing this.....The cupcakes are a simple but very tasty butter cake. The swirl icing is a Marshmallow icing from "Crabapple cupcake bakery cookbook" by Jennifer Graham. A lot of beating involved! All decorations are fondant with a very very small amount of tylose added. The butterfly cakes are covered in rolled fondant.
