I made this for my son's birthday a few years ago. The body is a round cake, cut in half, and standing upright, side by side. The haunches are 2 slices off the opposite sides of a cake baked in a bowl. The rest is pieced from a square cake. The spikes are made from green candy melts spread flat on a cookie sheet (covered in plastic wrap), cooled, and then cut into triangles. The legs are frosting.
