I know this looks nothing like the Course 3 cake. I personally didn't like the design so I asked my teacher if I could make my own design. I figured that if I were to spend so much time on a cake I should enjoy making it! I was inspired by many of the cakes here on CC. Cake covered in MMF. First time using MMF, first time making fondant roses and first time doing scroll work. Not too happy with the scroll work. I used piping gel with a pattern and you could still see some of the piping gel.
