This color was really difficult to achieve- I used a Tube of Wilton's premade red mixed with an equal portion of my reg buttercream for flavor- I tinted to an "elmo" red, then added a bit of navy and violet until I came to the color I wanted. The petal is the color that I needed to match and I was just a hare too dark in my mixing- next time I will do violet first and then navy. The finished product is in my pictures and bridal showers. This cake was for my cousin.
