I wanted to try a new cake and icing recipe that used champagne. I have two friends celebrating wedding anniversaries this week, so I made them small 4in cakes. This was my first attempt at rosses on a cake. It took me two tries to get the correct icing, but I should have made the roses smaller considerin the size of the cakes. Oh well, that is what practice cakes are for!!!
