Scratch made carrot cake and cream cheese frosting using my grandmother's recipes. I usually decorate carrot cakes with carrots. Ho-hum. This time I decided to try something different. Mixed up the colors and made it up as I went along. Thought the basketweave would complement the flowers. Took the picture outside as the sun went down. 90+ degrees so I had to hurry before everything melted together!
