This is my husband's and my first attempt at decorating a cake. We used crusting buttercream and the Viva faux fondant method. The things above the flag are supposed to be fireworks LOL! We haven't taken the classes yet, just found an 18 piece Wilton decorating set on clearance at Walmart and jumped in.
