I followed the directions on Earlene's website and after an hour of drying, shook them in a small container with luster dust. I was amazed at how much they really looked like pearls!

Wish I could give you a secret, I think more than anything I made sure I didn't roll it out too thin. I also made sure to use the viva technique on the bc underneath. That and a whole lot of prayers!

i love!!! your cake it is so beautiful.im making a cake for a baby shower and will be basing it on your design.(because its the most gorgeous cake ive ever seen) i do have a question though. i know you used luster dust on the pearls, is that edible or do those need to be removed before serving?
