Precious Moments Baby Shower

Precious Moments Baby Shower on Cake Central

This is my first paying baby shower cake after only three classes. I think I am getting better at this..:-) The picture is a buttercream transfer. Alot easier than I thought it would be. I did this for a co-workers baby shower. I was hesitant to put my pictures on this site with so many talented ladies. I wonder if I am the only guy??

Cake looks wonderful! What exactly do you mean by buttercream transfer. I know about transferring a picture by tracing with piping gel, but I don't know about buttercream. Is the picture with piping gel or buttercream?

Thanks for everyone for all the nice words of encouragement. That is what I love about this site. Everyone is so nice. And I am gald to see many other guys here too. missmelbox - To do a BC transfer, you trace your picture from the undersidae of wax paper. Then use thin BC to fill in with a number 2 tip usually. Place in the freezer about 20 minutes ..then invert on top of your cake and slowly peel the wax paper off. Pretty simple and the effect is great.

I love your cake, I started learning to decorate but got scard. None of my decorations came out nice. So, I said I'll just to baking.
