Okay, so I finally made my own castle. It was for a little girl's 1st birthday. This took me all night. I didn't get to sleep until 4am. I finally started decorating the "smash" cake at 1am. The cake is all buttercream with fondant accents. Turrets are cardboard cylinders wrapped in fondant. I learned a lot on this one....IF there is a next one, I'll know what NOT to do! But I definitely don't want to do another one anytime soon! I was ready to quit decorating cakes for good by the time I was done!
