Disney Castle Retirement Cake
I made this cake for a retirement celebration at the office where I work. The bottom tier is two chocolate 12" rounds, iced and filled with buttercream. The middle tier is two white almond sour cream (WASC) 8" square layers, iced and filled with raspberry frosting. Top tier is two chocolate 6" round layers, iced and filled with buttercream. Impression mat used to achieve bricks on the buttercream. Wilton's castle kit was used for the towers, covered with fondant and impressed with the brick design.
it is cute
:D Oh my gosh- I love it! I didn't know you could use impression mats on buttercream! I can
't wait to try it!
