This was a birthday cake for a 1 year old. I made the top of the carousel out of rice crispy treats so it wouldn't be too heavy and then decorated with buttercream. I made the horse shaped cookies and after icing them with royal icing, I attached them to lollipop sticks with more royal icing. The colors were meant to match the little girls party dress.
