This was for my son and I didnt have much time to smooth out the buttercream since I was making two other cakes as well at the same time. It tastes good but I like crusting buttercream better since as you can see I cannot get this icing smooth at all. I call him my little monkey so I added a fondant monkey on top. That also didn't turn out to well as the fondant was a little softer than usual. He liked it so I guess that is all that matters...
